This time we travelled to and from Edinburgh by train. The train seemed to be overbooked both ways and was unpleasantly overcrowded, but luckily we had seat reservations so on the whole our journey wasn't too bad.
As you can see it is a very picturesque journey once you get clear of all the industrial sprawl on the outskirts of London. ![]()
Bit of a misty start on the Sunday mornings but went to the Dynamic earth exhibition at the foot of Salisbury Crags next to Hollyrood Palace and the New Parliament and as you can see, when we came out the weather had picked up and the afternoon and evening was bright and sunny if a little bit chilly.
The weather down here on the other hand is, to coin a colloquial phrase, absolutely "Minging". ![]()
Now that is all folks so, hey ho off to work.
Have a good Tuesday.
