Last night I fulfilled a life time ambition which was to watch the sunset at Ohio on the Summer solstice. :>>

We had a lovely evening, had a delicious meal and some excellent wine in a little taverna down a side street and then walked out to the castle and the windmill (featured in all the commercial photos)but it was very crowded so we wandered off and found a more quiet space to watch the sun set.

Today has been lovely here. Very relaxing. Weather wise it is searingly hot, but it is blowing a gale so that helps to keep the temperature down a little.

In other news there is a cute adolescent cat living in the apartments we are staying in. I had nicknamed him the Noodleking because he appears to live on Chinese Takeaway, but today I discovered that he is a she soooooooo, I will have to rename him the Noodle Queen.
