Before we went to Greece a few weeks ago, there were a couple of minor quakes including on the Island we were staying on, but to my great relief we did not have any in the 2 weeks we were there. Seems that there was a fairly significant one in Rhodes yesterday http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rtrs/20080715/twl-uk-greece-quake-df81261.html
so the activity seems to be moving East along the fault line, the strength of the quakes seems to be increasing. Just a thought, and I don't know if it works this way but it seems to me they are not totally random and that the next one is likely to hit Turkey? Given the devastation that quakes cause economically and the potential loss of life, I wonder what precautions if any will be taken to protect people in that area.
Just a thought.

I would not be surprised if nothing is done, people seem to bury their head in the sand rather than face facts.

Mind you we could be pleasantly surprised
