Got stuck on the tube this morning in the tunnel due to signal failure and stuck on the overhead train tonight due to a broken down train further down the line. It is pouring with rain and cloud and feels like November. Mr S and I were going to go out for a nice walk at Waltham Abbey this evening and an al-fresco kebab but there is no point, so we have a take-out curry from the supermarket instead.
Various other things have contributed to me feeling totally cheesed off today to say the least. 
I hope things turn a corner tomorrow, but it doesn't seem likely with the tube strike looming.
A tube strike sounds horrible. People depend on it so much. A bus strike here is bad enough.
