To visit a friend I mean.
You can go either on the M25 but the slip road was closed - an accident perhaps? or on a major trunk road.
Because I had to turn back from the M25, I went on the major trunk road, but 5 mins from my friends house I had to turn off the road because the police had sealed it off so I had to driver round 3 sides of a square to get where I was going.
(getting the picture here).
Oh the way home, 4 hours later, I saw the police had still got part of the road closed off but it did not affect me as it was the other carriage way. I have no idea what happened there tonight but 4 hours? and Two major routes blocked? No wonder London isn't functioning very well, thank God we have the buses (when they haven't broken down or been cancelled due to a shortage of drivers) and trains and the tubes (when they aren't on strike, delayed through leaves on the line or signal failure)or we would never get anywhere would we. ![]()
Still it was lovely to spend time with my friend when I eventually got there and I did get to see a fantastic sunset on the way over to my friend's house and the last quarter of the moon was recently risen and was large and bright on the way home, so all was not lost.
Apologies if the contents of this post was a disappointment to you for any reason at all. ![]()
