The Nativity
Now I don't know if I am imagining this but the way he has depicted some of these scenes with the principal player in a tableaux and the animals underneath gives an impression of Egyptian papyri if you see what I mean. Oh, maybe that is just me, how I see things I mean. 
Lastly we are getting a bit Discworld
Underneath the church there is a small musuem with blueprints and sketches and stuff which is worth a visit.

BREATHTAKING ! I LOVE Gaudi's work !
I was first there 1971 and then 2004 , surfaced right in front of the Sagrada Familia and gasped - SO beautiful it brought tears to my eyes and shivers down my spine . I tell you .. Gaudi affects me big time !

Oh you were there in 2004 as well what a co-incidence. We were there in mid July when did you go.
The only thing that was sad this time was that in 2004 all the fountains were on which was beautiful, and we spent a lovely evening out at the Park near the Palace watching the dancing fountains illuminated to music, but this time they were all turned off.

This is The Sagrada Familie in Barcelona sometimes known as Gaudi's unfinished Catherdral he was killed in a tram accident in 1926 and work stopped. The work has resumed in recent years and it is possibly going to be finished in 2026.
