this morning because our furry alarm clocks failed to go off at 4.30am and so when the proper alarm went off I was still quite sleepy as I had slept through the night and I have taken ages to get out of bed. Shipsone was asleep on his back under the radiator snoring loudly, Shipstwo was downstairs on her cushion on the sofa next to the radiator. Winter must really be on its way when cats don't want to go out for breakfast.
I was reading this article this morning over my coffee and blueberries, http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rtrs/20081002/tod-uk-germany-boar-063ac92.html . As I recall there was some enthusiasm about re-introducing these guys into parts of the UK. Not sure how I feel about this, but having read the article I would have some reservations.
In other news, I have decided I am having 3 healthy alcohol free evenings this week (starting tonight) to cut down on calories and wear and tear on the liver (even though there is a bottle of sloe wine in the kitchen that I am keen to try).
