Home for a time of William Morris and his wife Jane and some of their more interesting friends, is well worth a visit for many reasons but even if you are not a big Morris fan then it is still worth a visit in that it is in a particularly pretty part of the Cotswolds. There is a nice little cafe in the grounds which serves wonderful and surprisingly reasonably priced meals as well as local beer. It is only open about 12 Saturdays of the year so if you want to go you need to visit the website
